To really enjoy this course and to get the most out of it our students do need to be genuinely committed to acting, to be receptive to new ideas and approaches and to be able to translate new instruction into practical steps. So whilst we do not audition all new joiners, we encourage the prospective student and his/her parents/guardians to come to a meeting with a BSA faculty member. This enables the student and family to ask all the questions they might have and gives us a chance to meet the prospective joiner and to gauge where he/she might best fit into our structure.
Then there is a special two-week trial (for the price of one) so that the student can make doubly sure the course is for them before committing further.
If for any reason we do not believe the course will benefit the student properly, we will discuss this too and outline positive alternative options.
