Occasionally BSA will announce a set of scholarships, aimed to encourage those young people in the community with a real passion for acting to take part in our classes.
How are scholarships awarded?
Scholarship auditions are based on the same format as the National Youth Theatre and Conference of Drama School auditions and will consist of an improvisational workshop, the performance of a rehearsed and learned monologue and a short interview. It is a very enjoyable process! The monologue should be no more than 2 minutes and should not be a poem or passage from a book. The interview gives us a chance to find out a bit more about you and why you would like to be on the course and is also a great opportunity for you to also ask any questions.
How do I apply?
Our next workshop is on 8th August 2016 at The Maltings Arts Theatre. To attend, simply call us to let us know and send us the Registration Form, completed. There is no fee to attend. You can also book online.
